VISITOR PARKING

If you are inviting your clients and prospects to visit it is worth reminding them that visitor’s who book their parking online in advance can save £5 off the standard price. They can find out more information on the NEC website:

https://www.thenec.co.uk/visitors/parking-at-the-nec/

MACHINE DELIVERIES FOR HEAVY LIFTING

If you are having a machine delivered to site that is booked into the ILS lifting schedule then the vehicle does not need to be booked in through the NEC systems; they need to report to the lifting carpark N11; NEC traffic and ILS will then release them down to hall side when required.

STAND FITTINGS AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

Your stand contractor will need to book their vehicles into the NEC Voyage Control system prior to arriving onsite. They can do so via the NEC Voyage Control Page:

https://voyagecontrol.com/necbirmingham

Please note that access to the site is restricted by stand type and size. Exhibitors and Contractors who are permitted to be onsite on Thursday 11th will be notified separately of the passwords to enable vehicle access on this day.

EXHIBITORS

GENERAL PARKING DURING BUILD-UP

If you are arriving on site to assist with your stand set-up but do not need to unload anything at the hall side just follow the signage to the MACH carparks and walk down to the halls (don’t forget your wristband and PPE). You will not be charged to park in these areas during the build period so no pass is required.

OFFLOADING HALL SIDE– THURSDAY-SATURDAY

Exhibitors wishing to off load equipment hall side during this period will need to book their vehicle in through Voyage Control. Exhibitors and who are permitted to be onsite on Thursday 11th will be notified separately of the passwords to enable vehicle access on this day.

Vehicles up to 2 tonnes will have 1 hour to unload – the entry system is now ANPR controlled so please do not exceed the time or you may incur a penalty charge.

OFFLOADING HALL SIDE – SUNDAY

Exhibitors wishing to off load equipment hall side during Sunday 14th need to be aware that a deposit system is in operations and is enforced by ANPR cameras if you exceed the unloading time you will receive a £100.00 charge so please keep an eye on the time!

EXHIBITOR PARKING PASSES FOR THE OPEN PERIOD

All exhibitors will receive an allocation of parking passes based on the size of your stand. For the exact number please read the ‘Parking’ section on the Exhibitor Manual.

You DO NOT need to request these – they will be sent in your exhibitor pack in the post prior to the exhibition for UK exhibitors and available to collect onsite for international exhibitors.

BREAKDOWN

Voyage Control does not operate during breakdown, there is a queue system – please see the attached pdf guide for more information.
